Midterms are coming. Those in major science courses have probably already had them. My Philosophy midterm is tomorrow, and there is a pretty good French test coming up as well. Liberal Studies has an in-class essay next week, so we'll see if I can write 100 good words in two hours. I can do much more, especially if I type -- I once wrote a 900 word piece in under an hour for Socials 11, and have taken over 4000 words of notes in 90 minutes of Liberal Studies; however, I may need to benefit from some pre-emptive organization.

Vocal jazz continues to be quite fun, and concert choir proceeds swimmingly. It's weird to be learning different styles; having no theoretical background in vocal technique, I am not that good at controlling sound, and sometimes I realise advice I took as referring to all music was just for one particular style. The mini-choir is ... ok? I guess, it's a good group of people, but so far we've only really got one god song. But I suppose for a few weeks that's not bad considering it's not the simplest piece ever. We'll be performing at a musical event put on by the Philosophy Club, so you might want to come out. I checked with Simon & apparently it's on Wednesday, October 26th, in the evening.

Foo has been helping my uncle renovate a house with his strike-free time. He's learning something for once :p He also did an interview for Rotary. Connie isn't doing it.

I got invited to Martha's birthday party on the weekend. Huzzah. I know a lot of people don't celebrate birthdays anymore, but for those of you that want to, I'm usually game. Homework pwns other stuff though. And remember, we're all students here, on student budgets.

I am putting unintended english on the ball too much. This inadvertant flaw is hurting my game. I think if I get rid of it I'll really be able to shoot. It would be nice to beat G more often.

How are you enjoying your philosophy class? I know we had our fair share of discussions on the subject.

I'm really liking mine. It's one of my favorite classes (my very favorite being history.) What sort of things have you discussed that really interested you?

hey kevin. I see you've posted once again. I can relate to the busyness of university. Is all organisation not preemptive and are we not still of the commonwealth. I like to think so. I was reading this psych article written in London on memorisation. I can't say I know what "english" on the ball is. I must read on my pool terms. Amen to school budgets.

woah it is sean. I haven't heard from you in a long time sean. I think kevin could probably relate space to time or matter to energy, but I don't know about space to matter. I suppose F=ma and F also = -kx. x measured in meters. F=-kx ma=-kx x=-ma/k m measured in kilograms. therefore, if x is measured in kilometers (X), and m in grams (M). X*1000=-M/1000*a/k
X=-Ma/k/1000000
