Brad and Kevin go to Wendy's

Well, there's a reason that they invent fictional characters to make movies about food cravings and getting what you want; the real thing just doesn't have as many hilarious antics.

Anyway, today after doing stuff with Chris, Arielle, and Foo respectively, I hung out with Brad. We just set off walking, on an epic quest. Well, it didn't start that way at first. Let me say, with a terrible cliché, that a long journey indeed started with a single step.

We met some random girls from Calgary just standing outside someone's house. Then we did some climbing. Subsequently at Mac's we ran into Rick and Brian. Then, we went to Roger's video, but it turns out it closes at 11 PM on weekdays. boourns.

Then we tossed a football around for a while. I am not very good at it at all, but sometimes I can make nice, parabolic throws with good spiral. Unfortunately, when I concentrate and try to do it well, I make wonky, erratic and just plain crappy tosses. Mreh. Then we went to Wendy's.

The lady at the late-night pickup window wouldn't serve us because we didn't have a vehicle. They should really accomodate pedestrian customers, but apparently there's some kind of liability issue. It seems a bit discriminatory if you ask me.

If I were someone else, I would have taken my business elsewhere forever, and told them so. Tim Horton's was indeed nearby. But, when you know just what you want, you have to have it--you can't settle for something else, or give up and go home. Thus, we walked back home, and got a van, then drove back up. Sure showed her. I also learned that Hat Kid is working tomorrow so maybe I'll go harass him.

In other news, New Year's is soon. A 'Happy New Year' is what I wish you, and it's also the title of an ABBA song I quite like. But enough about 1979. We were hoping to get some rebounds together for a 'rotex meeting'; however, my organizational skills are lacking.

I played a lot of video games with Foo lately. And far too much Master of Magic. Well, you can't play too much--it's just too awesome of a game. On the other hand it has been taking up too large a percentage of my time. Sigh. And my hair is dirty. I want a shower.

Well, rock on for now.

Something to blog about [incomplete]

"Something about which to blog," I should say.

This weekend I finally got to see many of the rebounds again.

[I'm going to go to bed, and then continue later]
